 The Walk of Hope

 He is Alive! Jesus is Alive!

He goes before us in Galilee.

I walk with a joyful heart.

Toward the Light of the Risen One.

The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

He is truly Risen!

I contemplated his Holy Cross,

I saw Mary, his mother, our mother and

I understood everything.

 

I understood in a heart-to-heart,

The power of our Lord's message of love.

Through the Cross, Hope is reborn.

The light springs from the empty tomb.

I tasted his mercy and

An energy of love filled me with happiness.

 

The fire of the Lord's love

Fires my heart and renews me.

His love heals my wounds.

His love unites me with the whole cosmos.

His love fills me and makes me so

Vulnerable and grateful

To have been loved as I am.

His merciful gaze softens my gaze.

He calls me by name and has chosen me to

Follow in his footsteps as the Risen One.

He gives me his peace, not as the world, and

Gives me back the joy of being saved.

 

Witness to Christ,

Witness to his resurrection,

I sing of the Lord's wonders.

I have seen his glory.

I have seen the power of my Lord.

I hear his voice from within.

The Holy Scriptures speak to me and

show me the paths to happiness.

I hear the cry of the earth and

I offer my prayers like incense to heaven.

I take time to contemplate creation and

I see my Lord and my God everywhere and

In everything.

His loving Presence embraces me in

A whirlwind of luminous energy.

I commune with this divine Presence.

It pacifies me and gives me the strength to love.

 

Life calls me,

I walk towards Life,

Towards the Light of Easter.

I risk my life on the road to

Welcome true Life:

Life of love, joy, charity,

Justice and hope.

I dare to hope to meet Christ in

Your eyes, your culture, your smile, your hands,

Your words and in your home.

As my heart burning with

The love of the Risen Christ,

I walk with my sister 'Hope' towards Life.

 

The Lord invites us to Easter.

Let's join in the dance of brotherhood.

Let's exchange glimpses of light and love.

Let us open our arms and hearts to welcome Christ.

Il est Vivant! Jésus est Vivant!

Il nous précède en Galilée.

Je marche avec un cœur joyeux

Vers la Lumière du Ressuscité.

La pierre est roulée. Le tombeau est vide.

Alléluia! Alléluia! Alléluia!

Il est Vraiment Ressuscité!

J’ai contemplé sa Sainte Croix,

J’ai vu Marie, sa mère, notre mère et

J’ai tout compris.

 

J’ai compris dans un cœur à cœur

La force du message d’amour de notre Seigneur.

Par la croix, l’Espérance renaît,

La lumière jaillie du tombeau vide.

J’ai goûté à sa miséricorde et

Une énergie d’amour m’a rempli de bonheur.

 

Le feu de l’Amour du Seigneur

Enflamme mon cœur et me renouvelle.

Son amour guérit mes blessures.

Son amour m’unit au cosmos tout entier.

Son amour me remplit et me rend

Si vulnérable et si reconnaissante

D’avoir été aimée telle que je suis.

Son regard miséricordieux adoucit mon regard.

Il m’appelle par mon nom et m’a choisie

Pour suivre ses pas en tant que Ressuscité.

Il me donne sa paix, pas celle du monde et

Me rend la joie d’être sauvée.

 

Témoin du Christ,

Témoin de sa résurrection,

Je chante les merveilles du Seigneur.

J’ai vu sa gloire.

J’ai vu la puissance de mon Seigneur.

J’entends sa voix de l’intérieur.

Les Saintes Écritures me parlent et

Me montrent les chemins du bonheur.

J’entends le cri de la terre et

J’élève mes prières

Comme de l’encens vers le ciel.

Je prends le temps de contempler la création et

Je vois mon Seigneur et mon Dieu

Partout et en tout.

Sa Présence aimante m’étreint

Dans un tourbillon d’énergie lumineuse.

Je communie avec cette Présence divine.

Elle me pacifie et me donne la force d’aimer.

 

La Vie m’appelle,

Je marche vers la Vie,

Vers la Lumière de Pâques.

Je risque ma vie sur la route

Pour accueillir la vraie Vie :

Celle de l’amour, de la joie, de la charité,

De la justice et d’espérance.

J’ose espérer rencontrer le Christ

Dans tes yeux, ta culture, ton sourire, tes mains,

Tes paroles et dans ta maison.

Le cœur brûlant de l’amour du Christ Ressuscité,

Je marche avec ma sœur ‘Espérance’ vers la Vie,

 

Le Seigneur nous invite à la fête de Pâques.

Entrons dans la danse de la fraternité.

Échangeons un regard étincelant de lumière et d’amour.

Ouvrons nos bras et nos cœurs pour accueillir le Christ.

 

THE NUDITY OF JESUS ON THE CROSS

The Nudity of Jesus on the Cross

 

Jesus' nudity began in a manger.

Without comfort or fuss.

Like a consuming fire,

He denounces the hypocrites who honor His Father

With lips but no heart.

 

Jesus went from town to town and

Having nowhere to lay his head.

Wherever he went, he did good.

His food was to do his Father's Will.

His Word, the Word made flesh,

Overturned the customs of his time.

He came to fulfill the Law of Moses

To make human beings divine.

 

Jesus, God and Man, is the One who brings Life.

Life in abundance.

In the face of resistance from the forces of darkness,

He freely chose the way of the cross.

 

The cross humanizes us.

We share deeply Jesus’ suffering from

His agony, his scourging,

His crowning with thorns,

The carrying of his cross,

His crucifixion and death.

 

The cross divinizes us.

From the height of the cross, the Son of God is naked.

Jesus’ clothes are taken away.

From his nakedness, he has clothed everyone with

His humanity and glory.

 

The cross makes us luminous.

If we die with Christ Jesus,

We rise with Him.

Christ leads us into the dance of

Hope and brotherhood.

 

The cross gives us life.

It is the victory of Love.

YES! Love makes us stronger and more joyful.

With Christ we walk towards the light

To live as risen souls, with Him by our side.

 

The cross roots us in charity.

It becomes the anchor of our lives,

Our only hope.

Jesus, I love you. I adore you.

Thank you, Jesus, for going to the very end of Love. 

LA NUDITÉ DE JÉSUS SUR LA CROIX

 La nudité de Jésus sur la croix

La nudité de Jésus a commencé dans une étable,

Sans confort ni flafla.

Comme un feu dévorant,

Il dénonce les hypocrites qui honorent son Père

Des lèvres sans y mettre le cœur.

 

Jésus allait de village en village et ne savait

Où reposer sa tête.

Partout où il allait il faisait le bien.

Sa nourriture était de faire la volonté de son Père.

Sa Parole, Verbe faite chair,

Bouleverse les mœurs de son temps.

Il est venu accomplir la Loi de Moise

Pour que les êtres humains se divinisent.

 

Jésus, l’Homme-Dieu, est Celui qui apporte la Vie.

La Vie en abondance.

Face à la résistance des forces de ténèbres,

Il a librement choisi le chemin de la croix.

 

La croix nous humanise.

L’agonie de Jésus, sa flagellation,

Son couronnement d’épines,

Le portement de sa croix

Sa crucifixion et sa mort nous font

Communier à sa souffrance.

 

La croix nous divinise.

Du haut de la croix, le Fils de Dieu est nu.

Jésus est dépouillé de ses vêtements.

De sa nudité, Il nous a revêtus de

Son humanité et de sa gloire.

 

La croix nous rend lumineux.

Si nous mourrons avec le Christ Jésus,

Nous ressuscitons avec Lui.

Le Christ nous fait entrer dans la danse de

 L’espérance et de la fraternité.

 

La croix nous vivifie.

C’est la victoire de l’Amour.

OUI! L’Amour nous rend plus forts et plus joyeux.

Avec le Christ nous marchons vers la lumière

Afin de vivre en ressuscités avec Lui à nos côtés.

 

La croix nous enracine dans la bienveillance.

Elle devient l’ancre de nos vies,

Notre unique espérance.

Jésus, je t’aime et je t’adore.

Merci Jésus d’être allé jusqu’au bout de l’Amour.

 

Christmas: A birth that changes the world

 Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!

A Birth that changes the world

Christmas... a divine birth

During the chaos of this world.

Christmas... a language of love

In the heart of our world.

Christmas... a luminous path

Amid our doubts and wanderings. 

Christmas... the Word made flesh in

Our flesh and makes us benevolent.

 

At Christmas, the divine is revealed anew.

Through the face of the ``YES``,

 The Virgin Mary gives birth to her son,

Emmanuel, the Child-God, the Savior of the world.

A birth that both humanizes and divinizes us.

This birth reveals the face of God.

A God who becomes incarnate in our world

To offer us His most beautiful gifts:

Love, goodness, joy, and peace.

 

At Christmas, the heart is in love,

The eyes are bright,

The face is smiling,

The hands are warm,

The feet are dancing,

The whole body celebrates.

 

It's Christmas time,

The time to renew ourselves in Love.

Our gestures of kindness and goodwill

Harmonize with divine creation.

Our language liberates life through love.

We build bridges of brotherhood.

All is grace and all is gift.

 

It's Christmas time.

A time for reunions, time of

Sincere glances and forgiveness.

We give the best of ourselves and

We dare to dream of a fraternal world.

We let our hearts beat to

The rhythm of God's heart and suddenly

We become One:

A heart that listens, forgives, and loves.

 

It's Christmas time.

The time of true peace.

Peace that comes from the heart.

Let us let ourselves be loved again by

That one look that counts and disarms us.

Let's take the time to meet Jesus' gaze,

In this this of Christmas and New Year.

Let this all-loving and

All-compassionate gaze divinizes us.

There is no salvation outside Him.

He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life.

May Emmanuel open before us

The Way to the New Year.

In Jesus’ Name, let us say:  Peace on earth!

Noël: Une naissance qui change le monde

 

Noël! Noël! Noël!

Une naissance qui change le monde

Noël… une naissance divine

Au milieu du chaos de ce monde.

Noël… un langage d’amour

Au cœur de notre monde.

Noël… un chemin lumineux

Au milieu de nos doutes et nos errances. 

Noël… le Verbe qui prend chair

Dans notre chair et nous rend bienveillants.

 

À Noël, le divin se révèle à nouveau

À travers le visage du ``OUI``.

 La Vierge Marie donne naissance à son fils,

L’Emmanuel, l’Enfant-Dieu, le sauveur du monde.

Une naissance qui nous humanise et nous divinise.

Cette naissance nous révèle le visage de Dieu.

Un Dieu qui s’incarne dans notre monde

Pour nous offrir ses plus beaux cadeaux :

L’amour, la bonté, la joie et la paix.

 

À Noël, le cœur est amoureux,

Les yeux sont brillants,

Le visage est souriant,

Les mains sont chaleureuses,

Les pieds dansent,

Tout le corps est en fête.

 

C’est le temps de Noël,

Le temps de se renouveler dans l’Amour.

Nos gestes de bonté et de bienveillance

S’harmonisent avec la création divine.

Notre langage libère la Vie par amour.

Nous construisons des ponts de fraternité.

Tout est grâce et tout est don.

 

C’est le temps de Noël.

Le temps des retrouvailles,

Des regards sincères et du pardon.

Nous donnons le meilleur de nous-mêmes et

Nous osons rêver d’un monde fraternel.

Nous laissons battre nos cœurs

Au rythme du cœur de Dieu et soudain

Nous ne faisons plus qu’Un :

Un cœur qui écoute, qui pardonne et qui aime.

 

C’est le temps de Noël.

Le temps de la vraie paix.

La paix qui vient du cœur.

Laissons-nous encore aimer par

Ce seul regard qui compte et qui nous désarme.

Prenons le temps de croiser le regard de Jésus,

En ce temps de Noël et du Nouvel An.

Laissons ce regard tout aimant et

 Compatissant nous diviniser.

Il n’y a point de salut en dehors de Lui.

Il est la Vérité, le Chemin et la Vie.

Que l’Emmanuel, Dieu avec nous, ouvre devant nous

Le chemin de la Nouvelle Année.

Au nom de Jésus, disons :  Paix sur terre!

Pentecost Light

My Lord and my God

I seek you at dawn. My soul thirsts for you.

You renew the face of the earth through your

 Lights that illuminate my life and

the lives of all those who recognize You as

Their God of goodness and mercy.

 

I greet you my Brother Sun.

You reveal to me your God, our God.

In you, He is like a living host wrapped in dew.

His heart vibrates with love, and he beats the measure of his love.

Your sun shines on the good and the wicked and

Your warmth envelops me in God's tenderness.

Oh my Lord and my God, how good it is,

To be blazing with the fire of your mercy.

 

I greet you my sister moon.

You reveal to me your God, our God.

In you, He is like a tongue of fire wrapped in silver.

This tongue of fire renews the created, visible and invisible.

At nightfall and in my dark places,

It hangs above the earth and over me.

It only illuminates our earth and rekindles my inner light.

Oh my God and my Lord, how good it is to be on fire with your love.

 

I greet you my star of Bethlehem.

You reveal to me your God, our God.

In you, He is the Way wrapped in light.

Your light leads me into the manger of my heart to

Let myself be loved, looked upon and sanctified.

My star of Bethlehem, you lead me to

The path of humility, the path of my humanity.

You lead me to the place where I recognize God's humility.

Oh, how good it is to be wrapped in God's humility.

 

My soul, bless the Lord!

My heart rejoices, the Spirit in me cries out Abba, Father!

You created the universe, my God, my Love.

 May your name be glorified!

You are the Tree of Life that gives me life in abundance.

May your name be sanctified!

 

Spirit of light, you who never die,

Rekindle in me the fire of Pentecost,

The fire of hope and mission.

Spirit of the Beatitudes makes my heart like

The heart of God.

Spirit of holiness comes into my heart to

Make your dwelling place forever.
