CHRIST IS TRULY RISEN

 Christ is truly Risen. Alleluia!

 

Let us clothe ourselves in the light of Easter.

Let’s dress our hearts so we can walk with Him.

He is in our midst forever.

Let’s sing, dance and feast with joy

For He has conquered death and

Raised us up with Him.

Through Him, with Him and in Him

We go forward in life with the certainty that

Nothing will separate us from His love.

 

The resurrection of our savior Jesus, the Christ,

Set our hearts on fire and we walk in union with Him

In faith, charity and hope.

Christ is our joy and our happiness.

He invites us to tie the apron and to put on

The garment of love imbued with humanity.

We walk in the footsteps of the Risen One with

A heart burning with love.

Jesus has put in our hearts compassion,

Kindness, humility, forgiveness,

Gentleness and patience.

 

With the Risen Christ we are new creatures.

Disciples of Christ,

 We choose to dwell in trust and build brotherhood.

We clothe ourselves in the full light of Christ.

To establish the kingdom of Justice and love.

 

My beloved in Christ,

Let us rejoice in the Lord.

Jesus is alive. He is truly Risen!

He goes before us on the road and with

His grace we do good like Him.

We perform work of resurrection

For His greater glory.

Alleluia, Alleluia, let us exult in joy for

We have seen the Lord.

He is truly Risen.

LE CHRIST EST VIVANT

 

Le Christ est Vivant!

Le christ est vraiment Ressuscité. Alléluia!

Revêtons-nous de la lumière de Pâques.

Habillons nos cœurs pour marcher avec Lui.

Il est au milieu de nous pour toujours.

Chantons, dansons, festoyons de joie

Car il a vaincu la mort et nous a ressuscités avec Lui.

Par Lui, avec Lui et en Lui

Nous avançons dans la vie avec la certitude que

Rien ne nous séparera de son amour.

 

La résurrection de notre sauveur Jésus, le Christ,

Enflamme nos cœurs et nous marchons en union avec Lui

Dans la foi, la charité et l’espérance.

Le Christ est notre joie et notre bonheur.

Il nous invite à nouer le tablier et à revêtir

Le vêtement de l’amour empreint d’humanité.

Nous marchons sur les traces du Ressuscité avec

Un cœur brûlant d’amour.

Jésus a mis dans nos cœurs la compassion, la bonté,

 L’humilité, le pardon, la douceur et la patience.

 

Avec le Christ Ressuscité

Nous sommes de nouvelles créatures.

Disciples du Christ, nous choisissons d’habiter

La confiance et de construire la fraternité.

Nous nous revêtons de la pleine lumière du Christ

Pour établir le royaume de justice et d’amour.

 

Mes bien-aimés dans le Christ,

Tressaillons de joie dans le Seigneur.

Jésus est Vivant. Il est vraiment Ressuscité!

Il nous précède sur nos routes humaines et avec

Sa grâce nous faisons le bien comme Lui.

Nous faisons œuvres de résurrections

Pour sa plus grande gloire.

Alléluia, Alléluia, exultons de joie car

Nous avons vu le Seigneur.

Il est vraiment Ressuscité.

THE SUFFERING SERVANT

 

The Suffering Servant

(Isaiah 53,10)

 

Crushed by suffering,

The Servant pleased the Lord.

A life given in sacrifice for all humankind.

Becoming man, Jesus acts in the name of Love.

He does only the Will of the Father, the One, who sent Him

Into the world to make disciples for His kingdom of love.

 

Misunderstood, rejected, humiliated,

Jesus did not renounce his divine essence.

He knows who He is, and He knows why

He was sent into the world.

He accomplished his salvific and redemptive mission

Through the sacrifice of Love.

 

Suffering to serve better,

What a paradox!

To serve out of love and compassion,

What madness! What renunciations!

Jesus went to the very end of Love.

Looking at the cross,

I realize how much God loves me.

Only love leads to the cross.

O cross raised over the world,

O adorable cross, my strength is in you.

You are my refuge, my shield, my pride.

 

Your words on the cross overwhelm me, Jesus.

I am left without words. You embrace me in this love.

I simply let echo in my heart this cry of love and forgiveness.

‘Father, forgive them,

For they know not what they do.’

Pure madness that restores my soul.

On the cross, you raise me Lord to

Your humanity and divinity.

At the foot of the cross

You raise me to your greatness Jesus.

You give me back my freedom and my dignity.

 

Child of the same Father,

What a joy it is to know and feel loved.

What a joy to have you Jesus as my older brother.

What a joy to know that I can come to you at any time.

Jesus, you saved me with your Hoy Cross.

Thank you for your infinite love.

 

LE SERVITEUR SOUFFRANT

Le Serviteur Souffrant

(Isaië 53, 10)

 

Broyé par la souffrance,

Le Serviteur a plu au Seigneur.

Une vie donnée en sacrifice pour toute l’humanité.

Devenu homme, Jésus agit au nom de l’Amour.

Il ne fait que la volonté du Père,

 Celui qui l’a envoyé dans le monde pour faire

Des disciples pour son royaume d’amour.

 

Incompris, rejeté, humilié,

Jésus n’a pas renoncé à son essence divine.

Il sait qui il est et pourquoi

 Il a été envoyé dans le monde.

Il accompli sa mission salvifique et rédemptrice

Par le sacrifice de l’Amour.

 

Souffrir pour mieux servir.

Quel paradoxe!

Servir par amour et compassion,

Quelle folie! Quels renoncements!

Jésus est allé au bout de l’Amour.

En regardant la croix,

Je prends conscience que je suis aimée de Dieu.

Seul l’Amour conduit à la croix.

Ô croix élevée sur le monde,

Ô croix adorable,

Ma force est en toi. Tu es mon refuge,

Mon bouclier, ma fierté.

 

Tes paroles sur la croix me renversent Jésus.

 Je n’ai plus de mots. Tu m’enlaces dans cet élan d’amour.

Je laisse tout simplement raisonner

En mon cœur ce cri d’amour et de pardon :

Père, pardonne-leur,

Parce qu’ils ne savent pas ce qu’ils font.

Pure folie qui restaure mon âme.

Sur la croix, tu m’élèves à ton humanité et

À ta divinité Seigneur.  Au pied de la croix,

Tu m’élèves à ta grandeur Jésus.

Tu me rends ma liberté et ma dignité.

 

Enfant du même Père,

Quelle joie de se savoir aimée et de se sentir aimée.

Quelle joie de t’avoir, Toi Jésus, pour grand frère.

Quelle joie de savoir que je peux venir à toi à tout moment.

Jésus, tu m’as sauvé par ta Sainte Croix.

Merci pour ton amour incommensurable.
