The world is waiting for a new breath of life.

 We are in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic.

Our eyes are veiled through a visor,

Our open hands clench through the protective gloves.

 Our lips reveal a smile behind a mask.

 Our steps distance themselves from our brothers and sisters.

Our visits to our wise men and women are rare.

 Our churches are emptying and going into virtual mode.

 The planet is losing its landmarks of Life.

This abundant life that you give us is crumbling.

 Lord, we need to find this fullness of life.

 

Come Lord Jesus, come,

The world is waiting for a new breath of life.

 We are waiting for the One who comes on our pandemic night.

 We are waiting for the One who gives meaning to our life.

We are waiting for the One who helps us keep our lamp burning.

 

Come Lord Jesus, come,

The world is waiting for a new breath of life.

 We are waiting for the One who renews the face of our earth.

 We are waiting for the Divine Breath that divinizes us,

 We are waiting for the breath of love that humanizes us.

 

 Come Lord Jesus, come,

The world is waiting for a new breath of life.

We are waiting for the One who gives joy to those left behind.

 We are waiting for the Divine Word that pierces the heart of stone.

 We are waiting for the Divine Hand that heals our wounded humanity.

 We are waiting for the One who gives Peace to the world.

We are waiting for the step that reconciles a divided nation.

 We are waiting for a hearing that echoes around the world.

 “I stand at the door of your heart and knock.” (Revelation 3:20)

 Here I come, will you open the door of your heart to me?

 I want to celebrate Christmas with you in Love, do you want it?

Come Lord Jesus, come, I am waiting for you.

 Change my gaze, make me look like you and

Make me love you more above all my Lord and my God.

 Come and renew your incarnation in me and in our world.

 Fill me with your Divine Breath, my Lord, and my God.

Walk with me Lord, so I can keep

The lamp of faith, charity, joy and hope lit.

Le monde attend un nouveau souffle.

Nous sommes en pleine pandémie du coronavirus.

Nos regards se voilent à travers une visière,

Nos mains ouvertes se crispent à travers les gants de protection.

Nos lèvres décèlent un sourire derrière un masque.

Nos pas se distancient de nos frères et sœurs.

Nos visites auprès de nos sages se font rare.

Nos églises se vident et passent en mode virtuel.

La planète est en train de perdre la boussole de Vie.

Cette vie en abondance que tu nous donnes s’effrite.

Seigneur, nous avons besoin de retrouver cette plénitude de la vie.

Le monde attend un nouveau souffle.

Nous attendons Celui qui vient dans notre nuit de pandémie.

Nous attendons Celui qui donne sens à notre vie.

Nous attendons Celui qui nous aide à garder notre lampe allumée.

Nous attendons Celui qui renouvelle la face de notre terre.

Nous attendons le souffle divin qui nous divinise,

 Nous attendons le souffle d’amour qui nous humanise.

Nous attendons la Parole divine qui transperce le cœur de pierre.

Nous attendons le pas qui réconcilie une nation divisée.

Voici, je viens, veux-tu m’ouvrir la porte de ton cœur?

Je veux célébrer Noël avec toi dans l’Amour, le veux-tu?

Viens Seigneur Jésus, viens, je t’attends.

Change mon regard, donne-moi de te ressembler et

De t’aimer plus que tout mon Seigneur et mon Dieu.

Viens renouveler ton incarnation en moi et en notre monde.

Remplis-moi de ton Souffle divin, mon Seigneur et mon Dieu.

Marche avec moi Seigneur, pour que je puisse garder

La lampe de la foi, la charité, la joie et l’espérance allumée.

Breath of life, Divine Breath,

 Breath of love, breath of joy,

Here I am with my hands open to receive you.

 When evening comes, I rest in you Lord.

 At dawn, my whole being is renewed.

 In the silence of this dawning day, you renew my breath.

 I get up at dawn and nature unfolds in a thousand facets.

My eyes capture your beauty, I marvel in your presence.

Your breath revives me, warms up my chest, and expands my heart.

 Your love is there, you are waiting for me with a smile.

You embrace me tenderly and all the love in the cosmos fills me.

 You feed my desire to see love through to the end.

 Go to the end of love, I cannot do it without you my Lord.

 I embrace your cross, the cross of mercy and the sacrifice of Love.

 I embrace Mary, your mother, our mother who reveals herself in our lives.

O Mary, you who welcomed the coming of Jesus in your womb,

 Help me to be docile to the Breath of the Spirit.

 God, come to my help. Come Lord to my rescue.

O Set me ablaze Lord with your sun which is rising on the horizon.

 Immerse me in this transparent ocean of love.

 Root me in the depths of these trees which are vivified in your living source.

 Endow me with your divinity Lord and

May I be an instrument of your peace.

May your Peace come in my life Lord.

May your Peace come in the Church and in the World.

 May your Breath of Life renew the face of the earth.

 Souffle de vie, souffle divin,

Souffle d’amour, souffle de joie,

Me voici les mains ouvertes pour te recevoir.

Le soir venu, je me repose en toi Seigneur.

Dès l’aurore, tout mon être se renouvelle.

Dans le silence de ce jour naissant, tu renouvelles mon souffle.

Je me lève dès l’aube et la nature se déploie en mille facettes.

Mes yeux captent ta beauté, je m’émerveille en ta présence.

Ton souffle me ranime, réchauffe ma poitrine et dilate mon cœur.

Ton amour est au rendez-vous, tu m’attends avec un sourire.

Tu m’enlaces avec tendresse et 

Tout l’amour du cosmos me remplit.

Tu nourris mon désir d’aller jusqu’au bout de l’Amour.

Aller jusqu’au bout de l’Amour, 

je ne peux le faire sans toi mon Seigneur.

J’embrasse ta croix, la croix de la miséricorde et

 du sacrifice de l’Amour.

J’embrasse Marie, ta mère, notre mère qui 

se révèle dans nos vies.

Ô Marie, toi qui as accueilli l’annonce de Jésus en ton sein,

Aide-moi à être docile au souffle de l’Esprit.

Dieu, viens à mon aide. Viens Seigneur à mon secours.

Ô Embrase-moi Seigneur de ton soleil qui se pointe à l’horizon.

Plonge-moi dans cet océan transparent d’amour.

Enracine-moi dans la profondeur de ces arbres qui 

se vivifient en ta source vive.

Revêts-moi de ta divinité Seigneur et

 que je sois un instrument de ta paix.

Vienne ta Paix dans ma vie Seigneur.

Vienne ta Paix dans l’Église et dans le monde.

Que ton souffle de vie renouvelle la face de la terre.
